About
the ATC4130 The blade was designed around the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group's (PICMG) new 3.0 specification (AdvancedTCA), which is an open embedded standard for new hardware platforms in "carrier-grade" networks. DTI's ATC4130 is equipped with a low power, 2.4 GHz Intel® Xeon® Processor with 512KB L2 cache. It utilizes a high I/O bandwidth Intel® E7501 server-class chipset with 400MHz front side bus and support for up to 4GB of memory. Located on-board are two 10/100/1000Mbits/sec Ethernet ports for the base interface, two 1000Mbits/sec Ethernet ports for the fabric interface, two 64-bit/66MHz PMC sites for user configuration, and other peripherals designed to assist in the development of future networked AdvancedTCA® blades and systems. The board fully supports the ATCA concept of separate data and control plane traffic when paired with DTI's ATS1136. The ATC4130 is compliant with the ATCA 3.1 specification via Option 1. The ATC4130 utilizes an AMI® Embedded BIOS that supports booting from HD, CD-ROM, or the network. Console redirection, PnP, and PCI auto-configuration are also supported. A variety of operating systems are supported including MontaVista® Linux CGE, Windows® 2000/XP, and .Net Server. |
